Halloween Porch Décor
I had so much fun decorating my first porch! Sure it's no covered porch with swings and beautiful cedar railings...but it's ours and I love it! Below are some pictures of the decorating process and some close up shots. Enjoy!
I may or may not have bought this all the way back in August for this exact purpose. What can I say...I love Halloween! I just spray painted the whole chair with matte black spray paint. I wasn't worried about it feeling uncomfortable because it's only for décor purposes.
My sweet neighbor, who I have known for years, had a rather large branch down in her front yard and I creepily texted her asking if I could take it. She was more than willing and offered for me to take anything else I needed from her yard...including her unmown grass. I just used some white paint I had borrowed from my dad for the apothecary sign (check that out here) to lightly paint the branch. Here's my observer for all my projects being adorable as usual.
Here we are at a sweet friend's home pumpkin patch picking out our pumpkins!
I had some extra lights, like I used on the mantle décor, so I threw those up around the window.
The large picture frame is left over from my baby shower. It was gold so I lightly dusted it with some of that white paint to match the branch and white pumpkins.
The pillows are covered in some old black curtains I had sitting in a tote in the basement. Repurpose people...repurpose!
The birds are from dollar tree.
Is this not the most beautiful pumpkin you've ever seen?!
I couldn't decide where to put the "BOO" sign. It still gets moved from time to time. I used a leftover piece of 100 year old barn wood to make that sign...and the ever famous white paint.
Lights on vs. off.
Happy Halloween!
